Update

Mom is still in the hospital. I called her today to see how she was doing and she said, "Not so good... I'm having a bad day."

She is still in a ton of pain and the tubes that were supposed to be removed today weren't. She said it is excruciating to take deep breaths and she doesn't feel like she can eat anything without throwing it up. Soon after we started talking the nurse came in for her breathing treatment so I didn't get very many details.

It seems that the surgery was the easy part. The recovery, on the other hand, is going to take a lot of strength. Keep prayin'.
