"Ann Louie" is Ann Louise DeMatteo. She is my mom and what was supposed to be a routine CAT scan for pneumonia turned into a diagnosis of Stage IV adenocarcinoma (Lung Cancer). I talked to Dad yesterday and Mom's surgery went very well :) He hadn't seen her yet at that point, but the doctors said all was good! I am going to pop in there today and see how she is doing. Hopefully I can get some more details, too.
